Jonathan Dixit

Jonathan started playing piano at 5 years old through the Suzuki method, until age 14. He later picked up the bass around 16 and started to learn the style of Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers.  He later moved to the Twin Cities and was gigging and going to McNally Smith College of Music in his early 20s and then he eventually moved to Austin, TX to start teaching and taught music for 5 years.  He currently plays bass (electric and upright) with the Jazz Vanguard combo and the Sunday Guitar Workshop. He is excited to teach at the Music Connection, LLC!
