Caleb Webb

Caleb is a DeKalb-based jazz guitarist and a sophomore NIU jazz performance student. He has played in both the St. Louis and Chicagoland areas and works with 2 combos currently. Caleb has spent time studying under well-known Chicago jazz musicians Scott Hesse and Bobby Broom. Caleb’s teaching style heavily addresses ear training and basic theory with an emphasis on song learning. Caleb works with his students to meet them in the middle and help them reach their goals while also becoming a well-rounded musician. He encourages all students to collaborate with other musicians by creating and writing music together, as music is a social art!
