Caleb is an active jazz guitarist in the Chicago area playing at major venues such as The Jazz Showcase, Fulton Street Collective, and Epiphany Center for the Arts. Starting in the St. Louis area, Caleb has been refining his work for over ten years playing a variety of styles. Caleb is currently studying with Bobby Broom at Northern Illinois University, and has studied with other prolific Chicago musicians such as Scott Hesse. Caleb’s teaching style heavily addresses ear training and basic theory with an emphasis on song learning. Caleb works with his students to meet them in the middle and help them reach their goals while also helping them become well-rounded musicians capable of playing anything they hear or are given. He encourages all students to collaborate with other musicians constantly, music is more fun shared!
